This farmhouse renovation revealed a remarkable piece of its past. As layers of plaster were carefully removed from the interior walls, the original hand-hewn logs were uncovered—quietly preserved for more than a century.

Rather than conceal this character, the renovation thoughtfully incorporated it into the home’s design. Select walls were opened to showcase the beautiful, timeworn logs, while portions of the ceilings reveal 100+ year-old wood, adding warmth, texture, and a genuine connection to the farmhouse’s history.

The result is a home where old and new live seamlessly together. Thoughtful craftsmanship and carefully chosen finishes complement the original structure, preserving the authentic character of the farmhouse while creating a comfortable, functional space designed for modern living.
